Android 7.0 Nougat: Release date, download and Everything you need to Know

Google’s next version of Android 7.0 Nougat update is out now and the update is start rolling out to nexus devices and General mobiles 4G and Dev preview devices. Android Nougat is the sweetest release of android yet said by the Google. Android Nougat is coming with a bunch of new feature and improvements claimed by the developers. Android 7.0 Nougat Is available to the nexus devices right now and it will take a week or two for other devices for the OTA (Over The Air).

 

Android Nougat Release Date:

Android Nougat is released now and you can install it on nexus, General and pixel C devices. Nexus Devices include Nexus 6p, Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Google Pixel Devices and General Mobile 4G devices. If you have devices of other manufacturer then you have to wait for some time because the other manufacturer have to rework their own version of software and push it to their users and it may take months.

Nexus Devices receiving OTA of Google Android 7.0 Nougat:

Here is the list of nexus devices which are getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update and the full links to the android Nougat OTA. These are not the incremental files but the images. Boot the files in to the recovery and use the ADB sideload through computer to push the update. You need not an unlocked bootloader as factory image. Through this your data will not wiped but you should back up your data just for safety.

What Other Devices Get Android 7.0 Nougat:

Every smartphone user is waiting for the Android N update but you are lucky if you have any recent flagship phone because you are would be getting the Android 7.0 update quickly. Some phone manufacturer push the software update to devices just two year old.

Android update may take long on some devices as we can take example of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow that some devices still not received the update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
